While it is popular belief that it affects only over-weight individuals, anyone of can be plagued with OSA. It is true that men are more prone to sleep apnea due to anatomy; however, women with sleep apnea often go undiagnosted due to thier contributing the tiredness to female-specific conditions (pregnancy, midnight breast-feeding, hotflashes).

• Are you a chronic snorer?
• Does anyone complain about your snoring?
• Do you suffer from chronic daytime sleepiness?
• Has anyone told you that you stop breathing while you sleep?
• Do you have trouble staying awake while driving or riding in a car?
• Do you awaken in the morning with headaches or a dry mouth?
• Do naps leave you feeling fatigued?
